MP5 is an Italian artist known for her incisive black and white drawings, illustrations, mural works and video animations. Her background is settled in the Italian and European underground scene and counterculture. She designed posters for political demonstrations, concerts, theater festivals and she worked on public mural works in Spain, France, Germany, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Sweden.

Her illustrations have been published on newspaper and magazines including: Le Monde diplomatique, Linus, Liberazione, Il Male, Blue, Animals, Il Mucchio, with several European publishers as the Italian LaTerza, the Spanish Norma editorial, the French La Boite à boulle, the German Schreiber & Leserand with stylists as Agnes B.

Her works and installations have been exhibited in national  and international festivals and museums. She also collaborated with art galleries as Lazarides in London and with biennal and institutions as the Biennal of young artists of Europe and the Mediterranean and the City of Rome. She was one of the italian artists invited to the project La tour 13 in Paris. MP5’s work was reviewed and published on magazines as Vogue Italia, la Repubblica, Cosmopolitan China, Juxtapoz, Rolling Stone Italia,  Streetartnews, Wooster Collective, Brooklyn Street Art and Internazionale.

She published two books: Palindromi (ed. GRRRzetic 2012) and Acqua Storta  (ed. Meridiano Zero, also published in German with the name of “Der Frevel am Altar der Heiligen Klara”) for which she won the “Micheluzzi Prize” as best Italian drawer at Napoli Comicon 2011.
